Sewdeliska Sewing Classes have been delivering friendly, inspiring classes in Perth, Western Australia, since May 2014. They are run as small groups of up to 4 sewists. Each sewing student is assisted when and as they need, on their own desired project. We also have products to support your sewing journey and save you time, from scissors to a select range of 'indi' patterns.
Jemma, the fashion-trained, industry experienced and friendly sewing instructor, facilitates creativity and style by guiding students through the processes and techniques of reading patterns, laying and cutting fabric, using and navigating a sewing machine, tool use and conducting garment fittings.
Sewing students learn how to make clothes and other items that look professional - no longer dissatisfied with that 'home-made' look and fit. You will start to make stylish, well-made and well-fitted projects amongst a creative community of sewists : D
Beginner to more advanced sewists are accommodated and classes are run with the 10 week, Australian school terms. The small groups are friendly and diverse.

I used to describe it as Aladdin’s cave. There are sooooooo many more fabric choices than Spotlight. Loads of eye-candy trims like braids, ribbons, tassels etc. Thread and zip colours are also a better choice here. Go with a project or fabric in mind to search through for. Homecraft also sell the usual commercial patterns. And allow yourself enough time. Like … hours 😅💪

Behind the scenes. These girls are great at doing some extra work at home and really utilising their time in class to help them over hurdles.
